ABOUT Adrienne Stone

Adrienne Stone lives in a 100-plus-year-old farmhouse in Overton County, which she shares with two very big dogs and one very small cat. There are wonderful locations on the farm and surrounding Spring Creek area to paint en plein air. People and animals are also favorite subjects.

In 1999, she and fellow artist Sandra Bos founded Art Prowl, Cookeville's annual event to boost visibility for the arts as a way to promote economic development and cultural tourism. Adrienne has also served as president of the Cumberland Art Society. In 2007 she received the Sam Bacon award.
