I’ve been enjoying this particularly beautiful August, painting with friends and in my home studio. Along with commissions, I’ve been busy in the studio preparing for the 45th Annual Open Show at the Oak Ridge Art Center. The show is a juried, mixed-media exhibition and goes from Sept. 14 through Nov. 2. I was so happy that my painting of "Big John and Friends" was juried in.– AS
